Miss Abigail C. Smelser
The 2008 Miss Middletown Honorary Fire Chief is Miss Abigail Smelser. Abigail is the daughter of Billy & Heather Smelser of Middletown. She is 16 years old and a junior at Sherando High School.
Abigail will be crowned at our Company Banquet on January 24, 2009.
She will also compete in the Miss In-Town Honorary Fire Chief Pageant to be held on April 5, 2009.
Along with riding in the 2009 Apple Blossom Festival Firemen’s Parade on Friday, May 1, 2009 with the Company, she will also ride on the Miss In-Town float during the Grand Feature Parade on Saturday, May 2, 2009. She will also accompany the Company for local parades.

Miss Carrie Rebecca Madagan
The 2008 Miss Middletown Honorary Fire Chief is Miss Carrie Rebecca Madagan. Carrie is the daughter of Chuck Madagan & Tracy Legge Madagan. She is the granddaughter of C. Richard “Dick” and Anne Legge & Charles and Lola Madagan, all of Middletown. Carrie is 19 years old and a 2006 graduate of Sherando High School. She is also a member of the Company.
Carrie was crowned at our Company Banquet on March 1, 2008.
